Visiting Colorado skiing latter this month?

Question

Visiting for the first time and wonder if any one can reccomend any great places to visit whilst there, i.e good bars resturants or great things to do, we will be traveling around various areas so not confined to one place.

The city is also the official home of four national teams: the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche I would check out a sporting event for sure, and a must is go for steak.....Good steakhouses include: Capital Grille, Morton's, and Denver Chophouse. The chop house was my fav!!!!!!!!

for skiing, for beginners i would recommend keystone, breck, copper, cooper, winter park (not mary jane). they are all really pretty close in price too. there are tons of clubs/bars in denver. if you're into clubs with lots of people and music (pop, rap type music) i would suggest any any of the bars in lodo, lower down town, the downtown tavern is fun, lodo's is fun, 5 degrees, the front porch. if you are cool and like places with a little more character and harder music i would say 3 kings, giggling grizzly, governs park, the park tavern, irish hound, cherry cricket, those are some of my favorites and aren't usually packed from wall to wall. if you like little "higher class" bars that are smaller in size and usually busy with good looking wealthy people i would suggest bars in the cherry creek area, bar luxe, brix (which is usually a lot older crowd, like 50-60 +, damn cougars). bar luxe also has an awesome food menu. there are tons of other places to eat in cherry creek. sushi den is the best in colorado if you're eating sushi, there is a place in aspen that i think is 2nd best but i can't think of the name. nine75 is a really good place to eat. dazzle is a worl famous jazz club/restaurant and it is awesome, the food is really good and there is always a live band playing, their sunday brunch is waitlist only and almost always has a famous artist playing. we've got the new art musem to go see, lots of malls, the mounatins, hiking in the mountains is always fun when its nice. if you stay in the mountains there are great places to eat everywhere!

If you visit Denver go to "The Trail Dust" steak house

They have the biggest steaks I have ever seen in my life, they have breaks to do line dancing and a slide on the dance floor (for adults too)

Also if you wear a tie they come and cut it off, and you can write your name and stick it on the wall... very strange but great fun

Sorry don't know about places in the ski resorts
