Open University has a good reputation (but it's in the UK).

Many good Universities have distance learning arms (University of Arizona did and Might still have one, University of Marland had a good one)

Why do you want a degree online? Law is a very social business. If you can't handle a classroom environment, it might not be the job for you.

Uhh, you never mentioned if you have your bachelors degree or not. If you do not have one then I would suggest not getting your degree online, unless you absolutely have to. I say that because I have taken online classes, and I prefer the classroom setting a lot more. It takes a special kind of person to succeed in that setting, because there is hardly any discussion, you do not have any face time with the professor (no office hours for help), and you have to be very diligent with completing your work. If you can not get your degree because you are working full time than I would suggest going to a community college (and then transferring), or see if there are any commuter uni/colleges in your area. Just make sure that whatever college you go to is accredited, or else the university you plan on going to may not accept your degree.

Now if you already have a BA or BS, then you would have to take the LSAT before applying. Only you have your BA then your LSAT scores you will have a better idea of where you stand.

if you have your bachelor's degree: there are online schools where you can obtain your law degree (JD). however, i wouldn't ever recommend this route. they'll take your tuition and once you graduate you'll almost certainly be jobless. for a young lawyer coming right out of school, competition for jobs is fierce and an online degree will do little for you unless you already have connections. you will be stuck repaying educational debt that you cannot afford to pay. go to an ABA-accredited program where you will be able to physically attend school. go to the best school you can get into.

if you do not yet have your bachelor's degree: it's not preferable, but you can certainly still get into a law school with a BA/BS from a correspondence school. you'd simply have to make up the lost ground with a great, great score on the LSAT and perhaps a supplemental essay as to why you attended a correspondence school.

whichever route you take, you MUST get a decent score on the lsat to get into law school. feel free to email me if you have any more questions.

Neither one of the schools you mention will earn credits honored by a real university. Without a diploma from a real university and a very high GPA you are not eligible for any law school.
