To be honest im not sure what the exact normal levels are supposed to be but i do know that low iron levels in blood during pregnancy, especially the second trimester is extremely common. If you dont want to take iron supplements try upping your intake a Vit C which can help and also eat more iron rich foods, such as meat eggs, green leafy veg, dried bean etc. This helped me during my pregnancy
Good luck

You iron is slightly low, not dangerously low but still it should be a little higher. If you plan meals to have a higher iron content by adding spinach, liver, kidney or other iron rich foods then you won't need tablets at all. Just have one iron rich meal every day or two and your iron count will reutrn to normal.
The usual range is between 12 and 17.

your iron should be at least a 13 while pregnant. i was very anemic with my first my iron was a 6! needless to say i had to take about 6 iron pills a day! it is very important that you take those pills because the iron carries oxygen throughout your blood.
