His full name has been Gerald "Jerry" Mouse since 1992. Prior to that it was just Jerry Mouse and has been since his naming in 1941. In 1940 he was an unnamed rodent.

Gerald, Gerard or Jerold. I'd say only Jerold really works, as the other two should properly be Gerry, but I think they do get shortened that way sometimes.
