I was with my ex for 4 years when we broke up - we then got back together after 5 months and it lasted 3 months -- so no it didnt really work out for us! I think it depends why you broke up in the first place and if you are able to forget about everything each of you have done whilst you were single -- for me it was just a case of not feeling like i used to about him,but in a way im glad we gave it another try other wise i might always of wondered! x

when ever i got back with an ex it only lasted a short while 3 years was the longest
it is never the same again

I did and it is working out great. We broke up the first time because his so-called friend was lying to both of us. We finally talked and figured out what was going on. This time we have been together for 11 years..
