should they trade kwame or vladi and get some like a jermaine o neal or gasol?

They will no be able to get a big star like that without giving up Odom or Kobe or some combo with Bynum. You can count out Kobe straight away and most likely Bynum too as they didn't want to give him up for Kidd. What they need is a pure point guard, one that can run and pass and shoot open jumper, and maybe a rebounding specialist. Hopefully they can trade Kwame and get a PG (from draft maybe) and get someone like Reggie Evans or Jeff Foster. They do not need another all-star player with Kobe and Odom. They need role and defensive players.

They need someone that can be a big presence in the paint. A bruising PF or C. They already have enough players that can slash. But they need a force down low that can bang and move others out of the paint. J.O. and Gasol are good players but they aren't this type of player. People are going to double team Kobe...thats a given so you would need another threat that would also draw a double team preferably a big time inside threat. This is one of the reasons why the Lakers won their championships with Shaq and Kobe.

I don't think so Jermaine or Gasol wont be good for Lakers also it will drain you of the very good talent that Lakers are building. I don't think they can have chemistry together with Kobe...Get healthy and stay healthy...Is all that we can ask them...They are a threat if they stay healthy..."BUT" if KG wants out Please get him even if it costs Odom and Kwame ...Man it will be a sight Kevin Garnet and Kobe together..Lakers will be quite an awesome team..With Walton, Smush, Bynum and Farmer also improving with time...Could even be the next dynasty..Go Lakers.

I think they should get a consistent PG that could run the team especially when Kobe or Lamar is sitting on the bench. I think they're a good team, they just need lil more experience since most of the players are just on their 2nd or 3rd season.

stay healthy....get a PG who can play tough defence and pass the ball.....
another superstar i think will hurt this team...especially with kobe and odom on the team....they need the right complimentary players to feed off the game of Kobe and Odom

Get a better point guard (a veteran).. Back ups for power forward and train bynum as a good post up and passer

since kwame is goin to have its last year.. dont resign him.. get chauncey.. and smush.. and walton.. by that time bynum has learned a lot.. playoff contender!

they need to get some inside presence first they are a good perimeter team with no rebounding .they need a good center.
