Some people create computer virus, but are they aware most people would be affected.

of course there aware of the situation that's why they do it in the first place.... its will either be some computer geek in his parents garage being smart by making some virus that will take down entire networks or a anti-virus company making the virus so they can make more money fixing everyones computer from the virus that they made..

The virus creator often does not know the scale on the effectiveness of their virus. Many virus creators in history vastly underrated the effect of the virus they created and caused way more damage than they had expected. Which by the way means, the more damage the more someone is going to hunt you down.

Everything is traceable to a certain extent if resources are available to seek out every possible avenue. No matter how much someone thinks they can hide, there is always a way to find them. The biggest one is a cash reward.

Essence is to earn money and create havock.
Of course they are aware.
Some viruses are created by some anti virus companies to market their new anti virus versions.
Other reason is to create problem and cause expense.
To a tiny reason as fun.

If they know enough to create a virus, they know the damage it could do. If they purposely find a way to distribute it then their actions are intentional.

I see these people as extremely insecure and looking to become "someone". Be recognized and get a reputation. Like people who spray graffiti all over walls. These nobodies think it makes them someone important.

To try to bring down large companies server to make the creator feel big inside and to remove his head away from the fact he's never got laid.
