Actually, if you look at it from one side it will be counter-clockwise; but if you look from the opposite side, it will be clock-wise. Trust me.

the engineer who designed the rides for that park could were left exceeded. and how does a vertical ferris wheel turn counter-clockwise? in case you regarded at it from the different aspect it may be clockwise.
