Hello, my name is Milk&Honey...
*helloooooo miiiiillllkkkkkkk & honnnneeeeeyyyyyy*
... and i am currently in university, studying media and journalism. I'd like to be a journalist one day, preferably specialized in politics. I really like travelling as well, so i wouldn't mind covering stories outside of France. Though, even if it can fulfill me financially, i don't think that much emotionally...
What i really would have liked to do was become a doctor, a veterinary, a nurse, or do humanitarian work in poor countries. Anything that would help people.
I also would have liked to become a writer, but for me, it's not really a job, it's more of a pastime, like something i do for myself.
Lol, don't feel bad Life. Even if you were a garbage disposal, we'd still love you:)

hi! I don't really know about in Lebanon right now, but I am currently in Ohio and I am going to school to be a nurse.
Right now most of the US population is aging, and there is a huge HUGE need for nurses. At my school, we have people from different hospitals there every day, and they offer to pay off our school debt if we agree to work at their hospital for 2 years after we graduate, PLUS they will pay us a yearly salary of 60,000$. Nursing I think is a very satisfying experience, because you are helping somebody feel better in their lowest points. Yup. So I think this is a good satisfying career as well as being monetarily rewarding.

hi
i'm a travel agent since November2006, i love my job, because there is no routine!
i work with a multinational team, german, austrian and Moroccan poeple(yes, i'm Moroccan), i enjoy meeting poeple from different cultures and countries everyday, and i learn a lot about other cities in all over the word!!
now i know the famous streets and places in many cities, europe, middle east, Asia....it's just amaizing!
working as a travel agent will give you teh opportunity to practice languages you speak, and to learn new ones, it will give you also the occasion to travel!!
i have never travelled for job yet, but i guess i will do it soon, they will take me to some conferences that will take place in other cities, and next year inshallah in other countries!
concerning the salary, i'm not really satisfied, but as i have no experience, i can not ask for more now, the bigining is always hard, you have to be patient and to learn as much as you can, then if you want to apply to a better job, you will have a good reason to ask for a good salary!
my dream's job is to work as a travel agent, but for an airline company, at an international airport!
i'm still keeping good memories from my training at the international airport of Casablanca, i was working for Air France, it was a great experience!
I wish you the best of luck dear!

Wow Life you seem very tranquil today! I like you this way.
I love my job. I work as a Web Developer (not web designer - that's different). I am basically a software developer who develops applications for the web. That's how I got addicted to YA, by answering under programming & design lol.
My job earns me a respectful salary when compared to other specialties. I used to earn less, but after 2 years of experience, it got better. If I work in Europe, I will earn almost 4 times what I earn in Lebanon. My specialty in college was Applied Maths (which is partly related to Computer Science).
In order to succeed as a developer you must be willing to be a persistent learner. That is, to excel in your job, you have to agree that you read a book (technical book, not smutty stories) a month. And yes, getting Certified helps a great deal.
Hope this helps.

Firefighting with out a doubt!! I have an exciting job. it's never the same day twice. There is always a demand for my services. I get to help people sometimes in their darkest hours. Everyday is Friday,(24 hrs on, 48 hrs off). And the pay can be what ever for me. I get complete satisfaction from my job! But my salary does pay the bills and gives me a little to put back plus retirement.

I'm a Literature and a Spanish language teacher. I love my job.
As I'm living in a 3rd world country, the salary is not as well as I should like it was, but anyways, it allows me to live comfortable, and to save a bit for travelling.
I know in some other countries my work is better paid, but I shouldnt change it.
1rst world countries can pay better salaries, but arent calm at all. Some things are better than money, so.......everything is relative . One has to think what want from life, put that in the balance, and take the correct decisions
PS , i live in Uruguay.....South America

1- A journalist in an opposing newspaper.
2- Owner of a bookshop.
3- Owner of a pet store.
