I think the fee for certificate attestation in Saudi Embassy is SR 50.00. It is equal to hardly IRS 625.00. If you are doing the authentication procedures through an agent, of course they will charge you more.

Cheers.

Dear Rafat! Your question may be difficult to understand for the people who are not aware of requirement of UAE Labour ministry for authentication of Educational Certificates before issuing the employment visas to the non Emirati job seekers. Some Gulf countries require it also. The certificates are required to be authenticated by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Delhi, and then UAE Embassy Delhi or consulate, Mumbai. Mostly this is done by the agents located in different part of UAE. I am not aware of the the exact cost incurred currently, but few years back one of my colleagues got it done for AED 700 (one certificate) and it took 14 working days. Comparatively, I feel the cost to personally go to Delhi from Dubai for attestation would be more expensive and time consuming. I suggest a person intending to search a job in UAE should get it done in advance before coming to UAE.

The break up given in one of the archives of Gulf news is (see the link below) -

Most of the agencies in the UAE charge Dh500 to Dh600, which includes courier, telephone and attestation charges. The HRD ministry charges Indian Rs50 (about Dh4), while the UAE Embassy and its consulates charge Rs750. In total, it might cost little more than Dh65 for the attestation.

At the end of the day ...its demand and supply.

What are you talking about ? Are you applying for any work permit visa . and if you do don't be surprised as now a days a great deal of verification process and cost is involved .You can get it right provided you know what is required and how it needs to be done and then the agents come in to carry out the work , but make sure its genuine .
