We are a rock band in London and have started to hit venues but want to play as many gigs as possible, to cut a lnog story short, we breathe when we play live.
Do you guys know about cool venues (pubs, bars, clubs) where they appreciated real rock?

Stick to Camden and kentish town they are your best bets but there are a few places around charing cross road and soho. Will try and let you know if I come up with any names,.

Camden Barfly. Lots of big bands play there and there are always a lot of support slots available to new bands. Good place to make friends with other bands and people in the business, which can never be a bad thing.

Water Rats on Grays Inn road is pretty cool. I used to see a lot of bands there.
