i want to know if i have ie 7 because i installed a program called vista transformation

obviously these guys didnt research the vista transformation pack. it makes ei6 look like 7 but it isnt. you can search one of many browser check sites easily to find out you still have ei 6 because the options are blocked from ei7 remember...duh

If it is ie 7 it WILL have a gold ring around the E. Ie 6 will just have it all blue and earlier versions will look the same as ie 6.

You cant check what internet explorer I have. But you can certainly check what internet explorer you have. :)
Open IE. Go to help->about. In the version you can see if you are using IE 7 or not.

go to help > about internet explorer in the menubar at the top of your window
check the version
else
if you can't see a menu bar then most probably you are using ie 7

just go to help--> select About internet explorer. U will get version number there.

well click on help and then about which shall display the version no.
