It enhances my experience of everything. I find myself agreeing with Richard Feynman, one of the greatest physics minds of the last century. If you can find Feynmans description of a rose, THAT is why i love physics.

But i will paraphrase in my own words:

When i look at a sunset, i experience everything that everyone else does, the colors, the sounds, smells, etc. My appreciation and love of physics allows me to appreciate the even more extraordinary underlying processes. For example, I can stand there and envision the refraction effect that creates the red light of sunset that i see...I can try to visualize the individual atoms in the air scattering the photons, or other times i can marvel at how a single photon can pop in and out of existence, at the same time transferring energy and momentum. There are so many different ways to look at the world through physics, i love it!

I feel a deeper connection with the world because i can imagine the underlying parts that are there...i guess that about sums it up!

I like physics because i like to know why things are like they are, even tho, u probably never know exactly why.

Besides, in physics u need a lot of math, and math is quite cool, at least the idea, and at last, its damn cool if u can impress others by talking about the magnetic momentum of a free floating electron around a H atom.

Well i'm studying physics, and i like it because you can understand the mathematical rules behind natural phenomena; after all, physics derive from a greek term that means "nature"
