I've been in that situation, and what seems to help me (a lot) is buying those little packets of Energy Vitamins they sell at 7-11, and washing it down with a NOS energy drink. I'm pretty sure any energy drink will work, but i've found NOS works pretty well. I don't do it a lot (so far i've done it twice) because it can't be good for you. I only do it when I NEED it. This will give you energy for a good while.
I've tried drinking more than one energy drink and it doesn't seem to help all that much, and it takes a while to kick in. So try the vitamin-energy drink combo. Also, make sure to get a lot of sleep when you get the chance, you body NEEDS to rest.

Take coffee and run into the bathrm real quick and take a 15 min nap... this will refresh you and when you wake up the coffee will be kicking in....I work 10 and a half hour shift in my resort in the graveyard shift and this is what I do before driving home when the sleepiness is kicking in....

drink a big ole cup of coffee, get talking or walking slap a bit water on your face and think how it would feel on the unemployment line or dipping into your savings to live if you got canned for falling asleep. Wonder how you would pay your rent and eat etc. Thought ougt to do it good luck

take a ten or 15 minute power nap if you can get away with it and it won't cause any possible problems (like, if you're a security guard, don't go to sleep...). then, wake up and drink coffee. keep telling yourself you're not tired, and you might begin to believe it and feel less tired too.

swap jobs with me perhaps...
ok my job isn't exactly exciting but I have someone bugging me approximately every 5 seconds of the day so I have no chance of falling asleep even if I wanted to.

Go with it. Nothing wrong with a power nap. Unless of course, it'll result in your premature release from the company. As to that scenario, I would say head for the toilets.
