Can a person can be happy, knowing that his/hers partner is cheating and has been for a long time?

Why would any women want to be a mistress whether he is married or not, if he has someone at home? The affair is now going on five years and he has not decided. Why would anybody continue the affair and waste anymore of their time with some one who cheats? Is it real love when you are willing to share? Do cheaters ever become honest?

no cheaters never become honest, they are cheating because there is something missing in them, and they think they can find it in another person.

as far as being happy knowing the person you love is with someone else, I can not see anyone truely happy in that situation
