How do I make friends locally using MySpace?

When I make friends locally on myspace, id like them to have the same interest as me too, how should i start? thanks!

you could start a myspace chat group listing your interests and seeing if anyone else may share those interests. or do an interests search through the browser.

Click on Browse...and you can search for people your age, women or men, or both, if they have photos, location (how many miles away)...etc.

And if you want personal information on them, click on the advanced tab on the top right.
