I go to a technical college and I get an A in every class I take. So, this is not a gripe, when I say, the teachers are stupid. They can't teach. They don't know diddley doo-dah from diddley squat! They don't get paid diddley, and they don't do diddley to deserve what little they do get paid. Wouldn't it be better if school was taught by teachers who really know their material and really know how to teach it, and really get paid to be there?

The real pros are out making money and have nothing to do with teaching. So, the result is, someone like myself spends tens of thousands of dollars on an education that is nothing but a worthless piece of paper that indicates graduation. I am doing more to teach myself the material than the teachers are doing to communicate it. I can't even expect a half-**** answer if I have a question. Where in the world can one go to get a real education? They are all bums. They don't make real money. The bottom-line is they don't have real jobs

It is just like any profession you look at. Not all teachers are worthless. Not all lawyers are worthless. There are good teachers as well as good lawyers. I am an underpaid teacher, and I take pride in my teaching. I am not teaching just for the money, but because I like to hear the students tell me how much I have helped them. More money would not make me a worse teacher.

I think you might have a slightly skewed view of things. First of all, many technical colleges are known for being meat factories that process people through with only what they need to know to get a specific job.

If you really want good teachers, then you have to pay for them. Look at MIT, for example. How much are you paying now, and is it comparable?

I had some pretty good teachers in college who challenged me, and then I also had those that put in the day's work. Once you're out of high school, it's YOUR job to find the teachers that will benefit YOU.

If you're not happy with your current academic status, then CHANGE IT! Don't go griping about how it's someone else's fault.
