Hell no. Who am I to act like a God and decide what is right or wrong? I ignore what I don't agree with or try to put forward a valid point on my thoughts on a subject. If you censor people then how will anyone ever convince them that their opinions are wrong. Someone said before that they reported a guy that was talking about raping a woman, personally I would have told him to get some help and try to understand the victims pain in these types of situations. After getting his question deleted I'm sure he didn't run off and get some help for no reason so the woman could well have been raped. You know the saying though 'Out of sight, out of mind.'

I have never reported anyone; because, I think it is a underhanded way of dealing with your differences. The notices of abuse do not let you know who reported you, or the specific reason they reported you. When you respond to the notice of abuse, you can only guess at how you may have offended the reporter. I will not participate in the reporting system until Yahoo Answers corrects the system of reporting, so that the reported party is allowed to know who reported them, and why they were reported.

Never reported anyone n i dont blame the people that have reported someone for good reasons, such as racism and nasty comments. But i have been reported for jokes which were edited well and weren't too offensive, thats just sad. Some people need to get a sense of humour!

Yes, I've reported two people.

One person was reported because she was trying to find someone to get back at him for whatever reason and she posted not only his name and address, but also his complete social security number.

The other person was reported due to the content of their reply. It was talking about how to seduce and win the trust of young boys and then he went on to talk about all the "good ways" (his words, not mine) of how to take advantage of them sexually.

Yes

This guy had posted a question calling all black people stupid and saying they were all on welfare. It was offensive because he made many racial slurs for no reason just because he has so much against blacks. After I reported him I posted a question I believe about Xbox's or something and he started making hateful slurs about me. I don't know how he found out I reported him, maybe because I answered his question..

Also, I was reported because someone didn't ask a question and I said sorry I can't answer your question because it wasn't a question and that person reported me :-(

Yes, the q was only curses and dirty talk, very adult:a very valid reason.
Not agreeing with some one is not a valid reason at all:that is beneath me.
Sky.
I hate flagging btw.

i must admit that i've reported a few. i try to help whenever i see a question on stress or depression, as i've been through a lot of problems with that myself. however, u tend to get some nasty little prats who say things like 'why don't u slit your wrists and do the world a favour'. that kind of answer makes my blood boil...... so i don't feel a single ounce of guilt for reporting selfish idiots like that.... i don't enjoy reporting people, but sometimes it's what they deserve.

Yes I have. It was a guy asking asking a questions as to where on the internet he would find child pornography. No, it wasn't just to be mean. He'd asked other questions of similar nature

yes I have, mostly for insulting other people - I cant stand ignorant xenophobist rants - it's all very well to have your opinion, but just dont be ignorant and rude when expressing it. And then I got a violation.
