you can raise this issue if you have appraisal forms in your company. you can report this to the one in the position higher than him or in HR i guess that's the reason why there is such thing as HR department.
sad to say but some of those who are in a position in a company are more s*ckers than doers...

Do your duties only let them figure out how much you actually do that is part of their role. let them work instead of sitting on their @ss.
Also keep a diary of events etc that go on so you have ammo if you ever need to go to the big boss...

Call him a butthead and walk away.
Piss in his gas tank.
Find nakked pics of his wife
or take a pic of him and use photoshop to place him in the middle of gay photo. Print it out and pass it around the office.
