Can you tell me what happened at the end of Babel?

I watched Babel until Cate Blanchett got airlifted away then I missed the ending. What happened to the nanny, did Cate survive and the kids and Chinese people how were they related? I really have to watch this again huh?

The nanny was deported. Cate survived. The Japanese girl's father sold the gun to someone who then sold it to the boys' dad. In the last scene, the Japanese girl and her father share an emotional moment suggesting that they might somehow be able to repair their relationship.
