He can do the ironing!!! Put the ironing board at its lowest level , sit him on a chair with a big pile of clothes, in front of the tv and tell him to get on with it!! (good luck!)

He could damage the foot more if he does do any work that will put pressure on his sore foot.
There are physiotherapy treatments available and they will help to get him up and running however it does take time and care.
Please be patient with your son as I talk from experience and depending on the damage he has done.
Then the exercises given to do and the physiotherapy will cure him eventually.
Be patient as your son has to be.

lol neither the way forward for england or guy U rests on the foot of Rooney, so do not count selection out England from Euro 08 in simple terms yet. i don't see this being a lot of a concern for guy U. guy U will nevertheless finally end up on the real!

Don't worry willpower is enough to go higher and not foot...
Help him to finish his studies.... and search for a good job... there are people who have lost their legs and hands but still doing wonders in the world
So please don't give up!!!!!
He still can do wonders you need to show him the examples of people who lost their limbs but still succeeded
Show him what his ambition should be and help him to work towards it

think he is just pulling you a bit. Why cant he go to school???
was he not provided with crutches. People loose limbs and they manage to get on with it.
sounds like you are the one that need to kick his butt into action!!

he can do just about anything, just get about on the good foot!....do you not have crutches? and you can send him to school with a note asking for him to be let out of each lesson a few minutes early so he can get to his next one on time.....just like my son did!....... tell him to stop being such a baby and get on with it!....oh no PE though!
