While I am very good with reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling and love American literature, I am terrible at math and science. I need to find a list of degrees that do not require any math or science courses.

I was in the same situation you were in. Eventially, I decided on a business degree with a marketing and management concentration. My science classes were limited to 2 required liberal arts 101 bio classes and my math classes were pretty basic math. I did however, have to take a calc class (which i ended up repeating by the way) but that's only because my business school required calc as a way to teach analytical thinking. Other than that, I didn't take any major math or science classes.

I think all degree's require you to take minimal science and math courses.

Why don't you look into a degree in Education . You can easily major in english lit. or maybe journalism?

Good Luck!!

I don't think you'll find such an animal. The reason for this is that there are certain "core" requirements for any degree from whatever institution you're attending, and the State Board of Education sets these standards.

Every degree has a few math and science requirements. Most can be met with basic Algebra and Physics type courses, though, and they do allow for tutoring. Just don't schedule a lot of other classes that will tie up your time while you're doing the math and science ones.

It'll work out.

Nearly any university with a degree worth paying money for is going to have both math and science as a requirement for general education no matter what the degree.

I agree with the people above who said that math and science are required courses in almost every college, but sometimes schools have less rigorous courses in these areas for non-science majors. Colleges often provide tutoring especially in math. Good luck.

Well, most public Universities and Colleges require at least one course of each; however, when I attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, there was no math/science requirement at all.

All courses will require math to some degree, even if it's only the basics. Sorry, no way out of this.

Math and science are always part of the general curriculum...If you have taken it elsewhere, they may or may not accept the credit, depending on the region the credit was earned in. You may want to talk to your counselor about which science genre, you can take for your major, sometimes those are flexible. Good luck.
