The Mavs are doing it this year. I must agree that they're DEFINITELY on a mission. They're on a 15-game win streak right now? This is good for them becuase they're learning how to *WIN*. That's what championship teams do, no matter what, they get the "w". The team last year didn't have that. Duing Game 3 of the Finals, you could look and see how lost they were when Miami started coming back. That definitely has to rent some space in your head in the offseason. I know that this is a stretch, but I don't really see them losing anymore games from here on out. As long as they've taken what they've learned from the past wins in their streak and apply it game in and game out, They could very well be the first team in NBA history with a single-digit loss record in the regular season and the first team to sweep all of their opponents during the playoffs.

I love watching most people fall down stairs carelessly, this will be no exception.....the team that should not lose will see the NBA championship series. Last year's Pittsburgh Steelers was not the elite team, but won a tasty blueberry muffin....this year it was Indianapolis, but the elite team did not dance due to knee troubles. Ohio State ruled college football, only to lose to a sub-standard Florida team. Despite my useless blabbering, upsets happen, and this year, the NBA will quickly crown the Dallas Mavericks because it is a team like no other. Woohoo!

I love watching most giants fall, this will be no exception.....the team that should not lose will not see the NBA championship series unless they are watching from the stands or on TV. Last year's Pittsburgh Steelers was not the elite team, but won the Superbowl....this year it was Indianapolis, but the elite team didn't even get to the big dance. Ohio State ruled college football, only to lose to a sub-standard Florida team. Upsets happen, and this year, the NBA will not crown the Dallas Mavericks.

They are on a MISSION this season!!
All of the pieces are in place & functioning well. They have excellent coaching by a man they respect & respond to. They remember what they gave away last season. And Dirk is focused & driven to prove he is a better player than the one who didn't lead his team in the finals a year ago.

They are just great and so much fun to watch. It is our year. Please Dallas City Planners do not announce parade plans just before or during the finals. You can wait a week to do that.
