There is a company on e-bay, that I bought a couple of laptops from, they have been really good and quite cheap as well! if you want to drop me an e-mail I will forward there contact details, have always found them very good, not had any problems with them, just read description before you buy! Also there is a place in Mountsorral (Near Loughborough) that have a shop, again they seem ok, although personally I have never bought from them.
My experiance of PC world has been poor, I have never found them in the least bit helpful! Tesco's also have some cheap Laptops, and Big W as well? depends on what you want it for!

Cheaper to go on the internet and buy! Try a google search, limit it to the UK and search on laptops. Good luck
