I am in love with a guy and decided to marry him, i asked my dad's permission, but he is not ready to accept my love, so, He chased me out. Now, I planned to go to Australia along with my guy. Even he gains 6 yrs of exp in Marketing field. Will we both get a job in Australia? We wish to work there for some yrs.
Am now helpless, I have no one in my family to give their shoulders. I consider only you guys, as one of my family member. Please help me out in getting there. Please, let me know what are the necessary steps to be taken for this process.

I live in Australia, you will both get a job here if you are willing to do anything, my best advice is to make sure you get a working visa otherwise you will be at anyone's mercy, there are jobs here but if you don't have a authorisqation well think about it.

I understand that there are many high paying jobs in the outback, that means for example on the west coast, north west coast, you should contact a few industries there i.e. pearling, mining, agricultual etc,
suggest you look into the West Australian employment sites I can't give you any examples but if you are patient and keep looking you will find them.

Your professional degrees will have to be updated to Australian standards, but that can be done via internet once you are here, if you want to do it before you arrive the Australian Government must have some sites for you to access, and this will probably be looked at with more favourtism.

Don't give up hope, we are a land of opportunity if you are willing to put the work in.

Email me when you are here, perhaps I can give you more info but please don't try to get in illegally, it doesn't work and stays on your immigration record.

Good luck

If your credentials are up to scratch, then you shouldn't have too many problems. Just check on the immigration and TRA website for 'Occupations on Demand' to see if you have a trade that they need. These websites should answer a lot of your more specific questions too.
I emigrated here from Europe a few years ago and had to go through this process... it's hard work, but I wouldn't change my decision for the world.
Be warned though, as it's not that much of a fairytale here. I have a few collegues here from India and they have found it tough. It's getting more and more expensive to live here as home and rental prices are becoming so expensive that average wage owners struggle to get by. You won't be entitled to any state healthcare or benefits for the first 2 years. Also, you'll find that a return flight to Chennai will cost you around 2000 dollars, which believe me is a lot of money to find when you need it.
One of the paradox's my Indian friends are finding is that (much like other western lands), they came here for a better life, only to find that their jobs become outsourced... to India!
Sorry to sound negative, but there can be some surprises here for you if you're not prepared.
All the best.

Australia is awesome however, you did not provide your dads point-of-view, why? Anyway, bottom line is that you are old enough to make your own decision in life along with your fiance. Parents want the best for their children and if you are confident of your decision then go for it.

God bless.

Your Family.
