Where did you hear that line??? Stupid statement if I can say so. Marriage and romance grow together--unless you two are all wrong for one another. Romantic people are born, not made--it comes naturally---marriage is the ultimate statement of love, caring, sharing, and committment to one another--it is forever..so be prepared. It only dies if you let it die,.....good luck and have a nice life

Marriage is not the death of romance unless someone lets the romance escape from the relationship. A lot of people stop doing what it was they did to get someone once they marry. Guys might stop sending flowers or women may stop looking their best. By looking their best, I don't mean a lady should keep going to the salon. I mean just looking like they care about their appearance like they did before they met their husbands. Some men become 'couch potatoes' and don't want to go anywhere after they are married. Husband and wife need to work to keep the romance intact. Otherwise they will literally become 'housemates' instead of a couple.

Marriage is only the death of romance if you are no longer in love with the man or woman. I've known couples who are in their 70's who have been married for fifty-plus years who still hold hands and kiss one another in public. Romance doesn't have to be about sex. Romance is displaying affection, of being in love and staying in love. If you do get married or are married, romance should be a daily, shared emotion, without question.

Marriage is not death to romance. You get from marriage what you put into it.
Marriage is like a garden, you have to water, and tend to it every day for it to blossom. Get the Idea?

If romance dies when you get married that's because you's let it. Just because the couple finally have a ring on thier fingers doesn't mean romance has to stop.

Who says it is?
You must know a lot of unhappy couples or something.
We've been married for almost 37 years, and the romance and sex is just fine.

It shouldn't be the death of romance. It justs changes and grows. If it doesn't then there is trouble in paradise
