Prince's (Purple Rain - Prince and the Revolution)
"Computer Blue"
- Neat electric guitar changes and acoustics. Just listen to the guitar. It has a great sound to it.
------------------------------------------------------------
Electric Light Orchestra (Face The Music)
"Fire On High"
- It has orchestra quality in it. Listen to the electric guitar play slowly, then hear it go fast. It has almost a spanish sound to it, but it is more of a cool rock song.
------------------------------------------------------------
Alice In Chains (Jar of Flies)
"No Excuses" & "Whale & Wasp"
-No Excuses has a grunge rock sound to it, but it carries a good rock beat. Whale & Wasp sounds like you're at some small island in the middle of nowhere, watching a beautiful sunset.
------------------------------------------------------------
Cocteau Twins (Blue Bell Knoll)
"Suckling The Mender"
-Without the women singing it, the guitar sounds almost mesmerizing. It's like you're in some celtic circle with candles lit in a Midsummer night's dream.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Toto (XX - 1977-1997)
"Miss Sun"
- Sound sounds like you're in some nightclub in Brazil serenading a beautiful girl that looks like Beyonce Knowles. And you call her Miss Sun.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Billy Squire (Don't Say No)
"The Stroke"
- The part when he mentions "put the right hand out, make a firm handshake) is a really explicit guitar song. But the weird thing is the chicks like it.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Depeche Mode (Violator)
"Personal Jesus"
- Don't know but this song has a catch to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Pink Floyd (Dark Side Of The Moon)
"Money"
- This song brings in an audience. I heard this in a Boswell's night club.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Tubes (The Tubes)
"White Punks On Dope"
- Don't sing the White Cops on Dope version...please. It has some punk metal in it. But not too metal.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Genesis (Genesis)
"Silver Rainbow" & "Taking It All Too Hard"
- Good song variations
-----------------------------------------------------------

I can give you a list of others, but I will pick these for now. You can also look up other songs from these artists for more song selection.

Wish you luck on your picks!
