Are there any free websites? How do I get started? I've been a baseball fan since I was a child, but never knew how to do the fantasy baseball thing.

I have been a fantasy football player for only a little bit. It is different then baseball but the fantasy games are the same concept. You start or join a league. Either Private or Public. I perfer Public just because it seems less hassle of me searching for people to play. Then you have a draft or you get to pick your players who you want to gain fantasy points. The points come from games the players play. Before you start though you will get a page telling you what stats will give you points and how much. (example a Homerun will give you 6 points) Of course there will be stats that take points away. (0 for 4, - 2points) .Points will be total and added up with your other plays points for that game or week. You win or lose by beating the person you are matchuped against for that game or week. You can make trades or sign free agents to make you team the way you want it. If a player is not playing you may want to put in someone who is. lol. I use Yahoo fantasy games. Since I have a yahoo address and account. My leagues and stats are recorded for each year. I can always go back and see how I did 4 years ago. Invite friends to join and challenge you to see who is the best in fantasy sports

Definitely, http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1 will take you to Yahoo's free site, where you can start a league and invite colleagues to play, or join a public league. Its great, I definitely recommend it. You can have a live draft or pre-rank players and have them assigned to you. I am obsessed with it so if you have any other questions e-mail me @ capoj2003@yahoo.com, I'll be happy to answer questions, educate, or give advice. Good Luck
