Hello all,

An uncle of mine wanted to dig a borewell in his farm land in our native place. He consulted a Geologist (!!) who identified the 2 points where we got the borewell dug. But, in both places it failed and lots of money is wasted. The geologist used a technique using sticks which in my opinion is unscientific or insufficient.

Does anyone know what are the latest methods to identify the borewell points (may be using ultrasound something !!) ? Any contact details of theirs would be of great help.

Thanks in advance,

It needs only common sense. The water will flow from its source either from river to our side or from our side to sea side. Compare the location of other yielding bore wells. Find a straight line so that the under ground running water may follow the same path. Just consult some knowledgeable person. Don't go to water diviner. They are not true diviners.Locate the intersecting place from different known high yielding bore wells and try at the intersecting place. It may help you.
