So far my 6 week old has thrown up twice today. And it's not regular spit up, it's the gross kind (and very stinky) and a lot. She's also very cold...clammy. She has her pj's on, and even then, she has a little cold sweat. I haven't taken her temp yet, but since she feels cold, can she still get a high temp? I also noticed that all of a sudden, she's leaning her head to the right. I've tried to move it, but she won't let me move it. It's hard. Since it's 3 am, I thought I'd come on here and ask what you guys think? I will call the Dr once the clinic opens.
Oh, the first time she threw up, she didn't cry. The second time, she did for 15 minutes. Just now she's finally calming down but she is not quiet at all.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Well, we just came back from the ER. I had called their line before taking her, and they wanted to see her. Everything is fine. The Dr wasn't worried about her little head either. They did take an xray of her belly, but that turned out fine too. I have to take her to the pediatrician sometime today or tomorrow for a follow up.
Thanks everybody. I haven't been paranoid being a mother...but today I did get concerned. I honestly don't know when I should or shouldn't, but I am glad I came on here and asked. I know someone mentioned that I should take her to the Er instead of waiting for answers here, but I guess I don't freak out as much as I should? I wanted to get input from other mothers since they are more experienced. Either way, thanks again!

Most er's have an ask a nurse line that you can call for immediate advice on whether or not to come in. Take her temp before you call. It sounds like an ear infection but it could be worse. If your local er doesn't have an ask a nurse line then just call them and ask if you should bring her in or wait till tomorrow to talk to her peditrician. Also her peditrican should have an on call dr or nurse if they are worth anything. Call the ped.'s office and find out if they have an emergency line you can call after hours. Good luck, hope your little one gets better.

Take her to the ER asap. The throwing up doesn't have me worried but her leaning her head to the side has me concerned. If your going to wait until the clinic opens, make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids so she does not dehydrate!! Pedialyte would be best. Act quickly.

Screw a doctor, take your child to the ER... now!

Her behavior is far from being even slightly normal and it's crucial you get her seem immediately. There's nothing anyone on here can do and it would be devastating if your child ended up getting worse while you wait for answers on here!

And yes, she can be cold and still run a temperature. She needs to be seen ASAP!

Take her temperature! I know it is trying to be a parent and all but that chick sounds definitely sick, not fussy. If I were you I'd try to get some sleep and take her to the doctor in the morning or take her to the E.R. right now.
