I had a wreck the other day where I ended up fishtailing for awhile, spinning in a few circles and hitting a barrier. Thank God no one was injured. I hit on the back passenger side right by the rear wheel. The bumper ended up getting knocked off, and I had to have it towed because the steering kept pulling when I tried to drive it. The tower said the rear steering stabilizer was broken. It was still drivable, just not something I'd want to be doing. No other damage was visible other than a dent. I know nothing of cars and was curious as to what this means/how much it should cost. It is a 99 Nissan Altima.

A broken steering stabilizer won't make it pull. I wouldn't get my mechanical advice from a towtruck driver. Any damage that makes a vehicle pull to one side is a recipe for disaster. Don't drive it.

To fix the stabilizer and body damage, about $6000. Insurance can be a pretty good deal.
