I want a good job that I can weave into my school schedule. The pay isn't my primary interest; I think experience is. I just want to work where I'd be able to fit in and get a good work experience. I don't want to work at a fast food place. Any ideas on where I should look for a job?

Do not go for a job... which is not progressive... e.g. waiter or sales man... go for some thing like... Customer Services (call centre), Insurance Agent, Free Lance reporter / writer, cashier or till operator... so that you can also make a career out of it as well and earn good....

I am happy to note that a young lad of 16... is eager to start with his carrer on the right foot...

where you can apply.... vist the targeted organisation and meet the HR representative...with your resume...there are various web portals where employers post their vacancies... regester their

Call your local volunteer placement agency or go through your school's guidance councellor.

Both would be a great start to tell you of ways to get into someplace.

Many non-profits receive grants to hire a summer student, so if you volunteer with them throughout the year--then apply to the summer grant position--your chances of getting it are higher.
