it's actually bad to encourage handedness for children because if it doesn't come naturally to them, brain processes will be messed up and they could develop problems, such as speech disorders.

I think they can. My brother is left handed and I am right. There are some things, like sissors, which are usually made for right handed people. We extend our right to shake hands.
Be sure your brother never feels that his use of his left is any less proper than using the right. You can also influence him to feel better about himself.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! My son is 3, and he writes with both hands. For example he has to write things like o, s, and c with his left hand and switch to his write hand for things like k, r etc. I have never incouraged him to use either hand until he started writing now I am trying to MAKE him use one hand only, but he is content with both, and can't stop. I write with my right, and so doe his father and everyone in our family that I can think of. It is just his ability. He picked it up on his own.

People are either right handed, left handed, or ambidextrous. And parents and educators should not try to change this as it has adverse effects on the brain.

My grandmother was naturally left-handed. The teachers hit her on her left hand (they felt it was the devil's hand) and forced her to be right-handed. This was in the early 1900's. As a result of being forced to be right-handed, she was always ambidextrious after that.

properly for one in English, provided that we write left to real, that's much less puzzling to be real exceeded (I actually have a thought that some teenagers in simple terms study to jot down with their real arms as a results of fact if that). yet in history lefties have finished amazing stuff extra advantageous than righties. :)
