last of the summer wine?

my dad loves last of he summer wine and would love to visit the place that it was filmed. As a suprise for him we were thinking of sending him and mom. does anyone know where exactly it was filmed and or, if they do weekends breaks there like they do for emmerdale.?

The village is Holmfirth in Yorkshire, North England. Yorkshire is a really nice place to visit but not in winter. There are really cold winds in the North of England. Yorkshire is also Bronte country and I when I was last there, they still ran a Steam train, so I am sure that there would be plenty of things for your parents to do while they were there.
