In Canada, the fortress at Quebec and the fortress port city of Louisburg in Cape Breton (Nova Scotia) which has been rebuilt by the Canadian government.
In the United States, the old center of New Orleans.
In Egypt, the Suez Canal (started as a French canal enterprise, but completed affter the British government purchased a majority of its shares from the ruler of Egypt, the khedive).
I leave out France itself. And there are probably some other landmarks.

As far as I know the Statue of Liberty is the only one. The others mentioned by people were all infrastructure of some kind built to be used while the French were in control of the area.

I dont think that the French managed to influence the development of a free independant democracy anywhere as much as the US of A. What thanks do they get?
