Everyone know about the standard 9-5 jobs. They go to school, get a bachelors degree in business or something, but what exactly do these people do all day. And im talking about secretaries, 45K plus?

ughhhhhhhhh being one of those "ppl" well...

Hmm. What do I do all day? Dam it, perhaps the mind suckers actually work?

Ok ok, here's what I do: I go to work, pick up the messages, get some coffee, answer the messages, get interupted by boss to do other stuff, do the other stuff all darn day, in between do the mail, have lunch, etc. By 4pm I'm back to answering the messages and then I get to leave...

Pt is, you may need the BA to get into the jobs but you don't need it to actually DO the jobs--a serious misfraction in our humane socieity...

Secretaries work their butts off. I rely very heavily on the two we have on staff. They memorize everyones habits and personalities. Remember all the details. Arrange travel plans. Negotiate vendor deals (that's a huge one!). And serve coffee. I can tell you not everyone can be a CEO, and not everyone can be a good secretary. And it's hard to be a good CEO without a great Secretary (or Administrative Assistant, no insult intended).

This segment also happens to be the biggest growing salary over the next two years. I think it's about time they are getting the recognition they deserve.

Put up with a lot of BS all day. If you can do something else do it. 9-5 is pretty much hell.
