My morning sickness was far worse with my girls. Hardly had any with my boys. Congratulations, and hang in there, it will get better.

Mine feel mostly the same, except a little more nausea with this one, and it's a boy. So the way your pregnancy feels has nothing to do with the sex of the baby. I know several women who were convinced their second or third baby was the opposite sex from the first just because it felt different or they were terribly sick, but the baby turned out to be another of the same gender. You have a 50/50 chance whether you feel sick or not. You'll just have to wait a couple months for that ultrasound!

hi there. I didn't even feel pregnant with my girl it was a doddle. This time round im having a boy, although the first 12 weeks were hard (morning sickness) the rest has been relatively easy again. I have had more heartburn with this one (boy) and suffered with nosebleeds etc but in general both pregnancies have been ok. So i guess what i am trying to say is its an old wives tale.

YES!!!
I hadf a wonderfully easy pregnancy with my first, no morning sickness, no nausea, no discomfort - he was a boy.
This time I'm having a girl, and I was so bad for the first few months that I couldn't leave the house, sickness, nausea, stomach upsets, dizziness, you name it, I got it!!
I also have a friend who has had 4 boys and been fine, but was really ill with child nºn 5 - a girl!!
You could quite possibly be having a girl!!!
Good luck! :-)

Mine did. Not sure it had anything to do with the sex of the baby, though. My son was my first... morning sickness and breakouts with him, but only the first three months. With the girls? Braxton Hicks contractions from day one... morning sickness all nine months... and bloated up like a blow-fish... with acne. It was NOT a pretty site..
It was however, a temporary discomfort for miraculous gifts..

Everyone is different. I had 3 boys and 1 girl and yes..my pregnancy with my daughter was the roughest but then she was my last one...so it could be that my body just had enough.

I had hyperemesis when I was pregnant - threw up every day, even in the delivery room. EVERYONE said it was going to be a girl because you get much sicker with a girl - my SON is now 14 weeks old! Guess you never can tell!
