Richbro - get a life - i have explained this to numerous times - has your brain shut off or you cant understtand English. The Prophet did not Marry a 9 year old, BiBi Ayesha (ra) was between the ages 15 -20 when he married her. It is not uncommon in those days for 15 year olds to get married. Infact if you ask your parents how old was your great grandmother when she married she was probably 15 or 16 , I know some of my friends Grandparents who where not muslim & married young, the grandmother was 16 & the grandfather was 34 , its really a case of the different century's we live in. Historians have proved Ayesha(ra) age , so why do you keep on spreading false information & talking rubbish. Get your research done before posting unfounded comments.

According to Ibn Hajar, Fatimah (ra) was five years older than Ayesha (ra). Fatimah (ra) is reported to have been born when the Prophet (pbuh) was 35 years old. Thus, even if this information is taken to be correct, Ayesha (ra) could by no means be less than 14 years old at the time of hijrah, and 15 or 16 years old at the time of her marriage.

My beloved American the beautiful is reluctant to come to its knees and be humbled and sorrowed by its own actions in Korea, Vietnam and Iraq!
But I do not give up hope that the younger generations will right the wrong done by the pencil headed and dead end conservative functionaries.
It is only the money that keeps them going folks and the odd shaped head!!!
