better buy a laptop and make it appear as you are using it. you will surely be taxed for that desktop and the inconvenience of bringing it in could not compensate for buying one in the philippines.

no. it is for personal use and one unit is not a commercial quantity. still, to be safe, bring a receipt showing a low value for reference. but do not be intimidated however if there should be any questions, as they are just that questions. for packing, just include everything, clothes et al in one simple looking carton and you zip through the nothing-to-declare zone
