Cheap tickets depend on what time of the year you go. Summertime is more expensive. When i go from end of July until middle of august its like $1500. Now between December until April it can be as low as $700. Keep in mind that summer is extremely hot in Egypt, plus all the sites will be full of tourist. During winter not as many tourist.

Oh, check and see if it makes a difference which days you fly. Also i always buy my tickets from NWA website. Also i would suggest do not use Egypt Air. My husband and his family are egyptian and have never said anything good about the airline.

For regular flights Egypt air is the cheapest, but you can look for charter flights. Charter is very cheap compared to regular flights. Charter flights are rented by travel agencies which organise tours to Egypt. They have some empty seats and they sell it very cheap in the last days you can check with any company which organise tours to Egypt and ask them about the rest of the details.
