Printing ink is now much better and doesn't come off as easy so will not make a good polish.Just plain newspaper was the recognised method many years ago as the ink came off very easily and made a good polish. Tilers used to use it for the same reason. I use a solution of vinegar and water with a j cloth or similar. Then polish with a yellow duster nice and clean. Mr Muscle window cleaner is also a very good one but it costs.

Oh don't use furniture polish on your mirrors, Use these for cleaning your mirrors, you can use rubbing alcohol on dry rag and you can use air freshner on your mirrors just spray on and wipe off then polish with a dry soft cloth, Vinegar and water will also work on mirrors do this method as you would the air freshner method Good Luck !

Glass cleaner, choose your brand and a clean cotton rag. Fold it in quarters and refold as each side gets dirty. This gives you eight sides total. Paper products leave lint, newspaper material can contain foriegn matter which will scratch the glass and show up much more noticeably on mirrors than windows.

I use a solution of a normal sized bucket of water(slightly warm but not hot so you will scald yourself) & a capful of white vinegar.Dip the cloth (a normal household one is fine) in the solution & wipe your mirrors with it,then the secret is to use a day old newspaper to dry & buff up the glass it works a treat.

That's because furniture polish has some type of oil or wax or glycerine in it. Use something with ammonia and dry it off. Finish with a piece of scrap satin. It will be sparkling!!

to clean it use glass cleaner and newspaper. if your mirror is in the bathroom and it fogs while you are in the bath or shower you can spray mens shaving cream on it and wipe it all off with paper towels and for about six weeks your mirror will not fog.

Furniture polish? No no no!! Use glass cleaner! ONLY! no wonder! You can also use a mixture of vinegar and water or amonia and water. Also best to use a squeegee.
