I'm in this club at school and we meet with other high schools and we sometimes watch gay oriented films. I am currently in search of new movies that we can show at the next get together. Do you know of any good movies that focus on gay issues or anything of that sort? you can also give me names of just funy movies, or just any movie. thank you.

There is this highly acclaimed Canadian movie called C.R.A.Z.Y, it's about a boy who comes into his own as one son in a family of five boys. It's a really good movie, very touching, and very identifiable for anyone who had grown up this way, besides the guy is totally hot as well. It's in french but has subtitles. I guarantee you'll love it. One other movie I loved is But I'm a Cheerleader, totally funny..

The Opposite of Sex is excellent, and very funny. Also touching.
Angels in American is MIND-BLOWING! But it's very long.
Longtime Companion is really great.
Krumpack (I think that's how it's spelled) or Nico and Dani (same movie, titled differently for different countries) is really sweet.
My Beautiful Launderette is great.

Hellbent is terrible, as is Another Gay Movie. Ick.

In your town do you have a local, like... what are they called? It's a video store, but they don't rent the same videos as Blockbuster. The have foreign films, independent films, gay/lesbian films, women films... they would have tons of good movies for you.

"Imagine Me and You". It is, in my opinion, the best lesbian movie out there right now. Nothing hard core or raunchy. It's very sweet and romantic.
