I think personally he is a good man faced with more troubles this nation has seen since JFK. A president is like a computer. It is only as good as the information you put in. One thing I am sure of is the people whom raise the most stink about him in the political arenas would have done far worse than GWB. It is easy to say.."well I wouldn't have done something that way" when the deed is already done. Hind sight is always 20/20. Most of the people who say Iraq was a mistake voted w/ congress to make it happen. The people who want us to fail as a nation could not made a weapon or comitted a terrorist act to do more damage to the will of the American people than the members of the opposite political party casting judgement of failed policy to make their own political gains. Then to have the American press run with this "Failed policy slogan" every day on the news over and over. If the news media said Sister Teresa was a barfly slut everyday over and over. Then no matter what the truth was most people in the world would see the greatest female role models in recent history as a barfly slut. I am a veteran and I can tell you death and destruction draw way more veiwers than a story of gains and good deeds. You watch the news and you would think Iraq is death and failure from border to border. That is not the way it is. If you believe their where never weapons of mass destruction in Iraq..What do you call the chemical weapons Sadamm used to kill thousands of Kurds with? Do you think the man whom took a minority group of people to the top of govermental power in Iraq wasn't smart enough to move those weapons mass destruction across the Iraqi borders while the world barked idle threats several months? I think any man who has been put through the lies and treachery that GW has went through and hasn't given up is a great man. A man who should be respected. Now you know how I feel and why.

I disagree w the President on a variety of issues large & small, but I have respect for his commitment to this country. He is fulfilling a responsibility as our leader which is beyond the realm of what any of us could imagine.

In the face of UGLY , vitriolic attacks by many who are poorly informed at best without lashing out w equal venom is commendable.

He didn't need this grief to call his a life a success, or be comfortable financially. He is doing what he honestly believes is in the US's best interest.....& he could be wrong by 5% or 100%, but at least he doesn't change his mind w every news poll.

I feel he is a down home likeable person , which actually makes him an easier target for abuse....but then that's what we do to all of our leaders at some point...easier to criticize than LEAD !!

Yes. He's not Ronald Reagan (not by a long shot) but he's better that any Democrats I know of, especially Gore and Kerry!

Yes.

He's not a totalitarianist like his political opponents say he is.
If he was, his detractors would all be dead by now.

I expect we would have differences of opinion regarding barbecue techniques (Texans are real stubborn about that.)

I could probably enjoy a pint with Blair, too, even though he's such a liberal.

The guy was sickeningly rich before running for office, and he's still going strong in his agenda despite a barrage of his OWN countrymen who want him dead. I have no reason whatsoever to think that he's doing what he's doing for anything other than the benefit of his country and the world.

No, but he is better than Gore or Kerry- much better, the lesser of two evils, both times.

Bush didn't defeat the Dems. They defeated themselves by not offering a worthy candidate.

Yea, I would love to chill with him. Like have a beer or something or maybe watch the game. He seems like he is laid back and easy to talk to.

No I don't but I think he takes too much sh*t.
He's just a guy doing things he shouldn't do in a job he shouldn't have. There's a million of them.
