This is an odd assignment... but I love P&P, so I'll try to help you anyway....

1. No... it is entirely from Elizabeth's point of view.

2. Not within the time frame of the book. I'm sure she does eventually, after the book ends. ;)

3. No... Specifically, he was "in trade." As her brother is also "in trade", I'm assuming it was some business or another. I think Mr. Phillips was an attorney, though.

4. Charlotte Lucas

5. This is a personal opinion kind of thing. You should answer this yourself. Pathetic in the sense of "to be pitied" would be Lydia B. - she ends up in a loveless marriage, almost ruining her family - with little knowledge of this fact herself. Anne de Bourgh is the most useless, ill, and obvious choice of bad situations - though Kitty is a close second for pathetic in that her own character is characterized by her lack of character.

6. Most obviously ridiculed was Mr. Collins, though Mrs. Bennet is daily ridiculed by her husband, and all of the characters get their share of ridicule.

7. Most spirited is definitely Lizzy.

8. Wickham is the villain of the piece... no questions asked. Most of the problems experienced by the characters are caused by parental neglect, though. The Bennet sisters suffered their parent's neglect to the younger sister's manners and morals. Miss Darcy suffered her brother's neglect, and therefore almost eloped. Wickham caused suffering because knowledge of his character was neglected. And so on and so forth, I will shut up. ^_^
