I've decided to buy the dell brand. But I have a question, whats better a processor to get with it, Intel dual core or turion 64 x2?? The intel costs about $100 more. What's the difference between those two?

Intel dual core is 32 bit, and the AMD turion 64 x2 is 64 bit!

Dell sucks. You'll regret buying a Dell, they are wayyyy overrated. Try an HP Dv6000 series. I have an HP Dv62333SE and it's awesome. My laptop has the Turion 64 X2 TL-50 and it's great.

I think dell is the better choice. I suggest you Intel dual core processor. Good Luck

My suggestion is:
Get a dual-core intel or 64X2 Amd processor,
2 gigs of ram (4 gigs capability),
120 gig harddrive,
Longer battery life,
wireless adapters pre-installed.

Good luck.

Home and gaming = Intel
Business = AMD

You can have problems running some programs on a 64 bit processor (like games) where you won't on a standard 32bit processor.

i worked at circuit city and sold computers, it depends on what your mainly using it for the intel is great with gaming and video editing. thats why its normally a bit more pricey. the amd is good for basics like web browsing and what not. other then that the intel can be more pricey because its been around longer and people are more comfortable with it because of that. amd just came out within the last couple years. good luck with your new laptop!!
