Meet somebody online, or at a bar/club?

that is a difficult question... meeting people on line is scary... they aren't always who they seem... meeting people in a bar/club is risky too... most people go there in search of something cheap/short-term... between the two i'd say bar/club, at least this way i actually get to see the person?

Online as long as they were directed to me by a mutual friend. Bar/club otherwise.

Neither. On-line is dangerous. At a bar...that is the LAST place I would want to meet someone. I met my last boyfriend as I was about to take my little doggie for a walk. I was still in my front yard. We spoke briefly...it was pleasant...within a month we were dating.....AFTER we got to know each other.

Bar/club: That way I can at least check them for Adam's Apple before I say hi.

I would rather meet them in person because you never know who you are actually talking to online.
