I got no problem using metal bowl for making pudding into my microwave ( it's just a microwave, not oven). But someone told me it's harmful n sometimes causing for damaging microwave. Is that true? Does anybody know any useful sites as a poof regarding it?

Arcing can damage your microwave - the air between the metal object and the metal sides of the microwave ionises and causes a current between the two... I'd suggest not doing it :)

Metal bowls should not be used for microwave. They act as reflectors and could redirect the radio waves (microwaves) in a manner to damage the oven, or burn the food. Best to stick to microwave approved cookware.
