Is it really important to know your self better?

my friend really cant understand his self. He is so unpredictable.

* Yes it is. You need to know yourself to make good decisions. To predict the way you would react in certain circumstances. Some may never really know what they want to do when they grow up (and that's ok), but to know some of your likes and dislikes is helpful and makes life a bit easier for youself. Knowing yourself helps to give you confidence.

Actually if you really understood him you would understand that he is not unpredictable. There is always a reason behind how a person acts. You would have to know his upbringing, what is happening in his life and then everything would come clear.

I know it sounds cliche, but you really do need to know your self better. Maybe knowing himself is being unpredictable. He is the only person that really knows. If you know yourself and believe in your abilities you can do almost anything in life....or at least have the will to try.
