boy o boy. i know how you feel. been in the same shape since as early as i can remember and now i'm 57. wish i had an easy answer for you. suicide is not the answer....., it hurts too many left behind. you seriously need to find a therapist that you can talk to. you may have to shop around cuz you won't be compatable with just anyone. i have been in therapy for five years. i trust her somewhat now. sometimes i think she helps and sometimes i don't. i never wanted to take antidepressants. finally tho a couple of years ago i did it. i'm glad now. i was on one it worked a little while then it quit. i went thru 3 like that. now i'm on zoloft for 9 months and life a a bit better. life is hard. some of us just get cheated on good parents and things being easy. i have never enjoyed my life and probably never will but i'll let God decide when I leave this earth. don't think i haven't tried suicide...i have. i managed to grow up somehow and have four children one of which died at a year of age from cancer. my other children are happy except for one who has this depression disease. it's hereditary in a lot of cases. find yourself a profession helping others and devote yourself to it. trust me when i say the 'brady bunch' life really was make believe...just doesn't happen here. Don't expect to be happy all the time ( and for a few....any of the time)God loves you and he will rescue you from this pain when his plan for you has been fulfilled. don't do anything stupid, and suicide is just that. hang in there buddy and one day you'll be 57 and remember what i said, " Life may not be fun, but with the right choices it can be bareable!" love to you.

Ya know... If you really have nothing to lose, seeing a psychologist can't hurt anything. Would you rather depart with 23 years of a bad time, or live double that of a good time? Choice is yours and yours alone, but again, nothing to lose by talking to someone, and if you're reaching out this far, it might be in your best interest, and may even be what you really want, eh?

What? why dont you see someone to help you maybe some medication would help or even self medication like a bit of pot or a few beers, go get some coke but dont kill yourself what about all those people dying of cancer just wishing they can keep on living , I asume you have your health whats more important than that.

try a change in your life instead... wake up and enjoy the birds, the sunshine, the colors.
modify your physical lifestyle and be more active. eat healthier (food and exercise affect the way we feel mentally)
ultimately, help people and do good deeds. that gives you a sense of worth and accomplishments.
now if none of that works, get married. this will surely end your life.

Shame on you, at 23 you have not lived enough to know what true enjoyment or true heartache is. You have a great deal of learning and growing and living to do yet. Trust me, the time comes to die sooner than any of us know, get what you can out of this life, or you will be doomed to come and relive it all again.

Smoking. Give yourself another 20 years to hate life, and if you still do, ask again then. What I'm saying is **** eventually does get better.
