It dependes of what? Only the age? how does it start? What a about a man that exercise on daily basis?

It depends on the man's general health.

If a man is diabetic or has high blood pressure, he might lose the ability to get an erection when he's 25.

On the other hand, if a man is in great shape, he might be able to keep having erections into his 90's (Anthony Quinn and Tony Randall both had babies when they were in their 70's!).

Exercise is a toss up - it does keep a man's cardiovascular system in great shape, but if he's using steroids or other synthetic testosterone suppliments, it could prevent him from having erections.

Also, sometimes men can't get erections for other reasons.

He might be angry at the woman - maybe they just had a big argument. Or he might not be in the mood. Or he might be worried about something (if he just got laid off today, he probably won't be able to do it tonight) Or maybe he just drank too much beer (drunkenness can prevent a man from getting an erection too).

When I was 20 I was pretty sure that by 30 I wouldn't be able to get it up. At 30 I felt pretty good but was afraid of what was going to happen at 40. When 40 came, and went, I decided that I could probably get it up as long as I knew what it was for. I'm 70 now and can still get it up...and yes, I still know what it's for. And I have friends who are over 80 and they tell me I still have something to look forward to. PS, I've never used viagra or anything else. Yet.

When I was visiting a Nursing Home years ago, my Grandfather's 93 year old roomate said he had a date. He opened up a drawer and pulled out a box of rubbers and put 2 in his pocket and then put cotton in his ears and a clothes pin on his nose.

I asked him what was the cotton and the clothes pin for.

He said, two things he hates when having sex is the smell of burning rubber, and women screaming in ectasy.

It's not a yes or no thing. Around mid-40s, maybe 50, things don't come as easy. Takes a little more patience from both parties. Yes, exercise, diet, weight, general good health & lifestyle habits all play a role.

i heard that if a man has irregular sex life he stops getting it up earlier. regular sex till the old age is the key to not letting it down. my friend who is a doctor told me. and i never got any information that physical exercises help keeping it up. usually on the contrary - hard physical exercises take all the power from the body, so a man doesn't have energy to perform. this was my own experience.

it all depends on the fire left in the man or relationship. if you don't turn him on it want get up. but drinking a lot of caffeine, smoking, not enough exercise, eating the right foods and as you said Age (50yrs and older) do hurt a man in many ways. i am 35 yrs. old and my father was 52 yrs. old when i was born. but the food back than isn't like the food we eat today. food back than was a lot better for you than the food we eat today. witch is grown in a glass house and not in our backyard. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU.

I just figure when his heart gets to old to be doing all that freaky stuff.

Now if he gets a cyborg heart and rod, then you'll be ok for a very long time.
